We've had our third orientation meeting and our delegates are growing as a team! At this meeting, we learned that "no one is an island" through an activity that required us to work as a team.
We learned more about travel safety, expectations, and the experiences we will have in Canada. To top off our meeting, each delegate presented his or her project. We got to learn more about all the places we will visit; we sampled tasty Canadian treats too!
The weekend after our fantastic meeting, Ms. LeAnne, Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Kathy, and Ms. Tiffany attended a People to People Training Conference in Atlanta. They learned even more about travel safety, our program in Canada, and how to help our fabulours delegates have the best experience ever! The Teacher Leaders can't wait to share all the great things they learned with the delegates and their parents at our next meeting.
